New PDA (anyway to reuse old tomtom)

I've upgraded from my old 3800 which was losing battery life badly to a new 4700, i have a tomtom navigator 3 wired gps kit licensed to the old pda.

Does anyone know of any procedure to get it to work on the new pda given the old one will be uninstalled, so i'm still on using one copy as per the license.

I would imagine that the only way would be to contact Tomtom by phone and then explain the situation. Hopefully they will then be able to give you some new codes to register your navigator.

If you bought it through a legitimate supplier and you've only registered it against your 3800 then you should still have 1 registration left as you can register 2 PDAs per copy of TT3.
