Angry Tom Tom 5 Crashes on HP Ipag rx3715

Does anyone know why my ppc keeps crashing after 10 - 15 mins of use. You then have to soft reset as it all locks up and when you try to run Tom Tom again it asks you to install a map as it now can't see it. Is this a common issue or could my ppc be at fault?

This also occurs on my XDA II, PPC. I've informed TT, and they said download v5.1. This doesn't solve the issue, However, I'm am glad that someone else is having the same issue ! (nothing personal)

I have the ipaq rx3715. Had to do a couple of soft resets after messing around with the unit but that's all. Not ask me to install any maps. I'm very pleased with the unit, I'm using the new TomTom bluetooth GPS. I havn't installed the upgrade as I didn't have any of the problems that it is to resolve.

hi there just to let you know i have this Rx3715 and so does a friend of mine, we've not had this problem at all, so i feel it may be something to do with your ipaq, btw there is a bios update available from the hp website http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/fi...oad/22474.html
the above link should take you directly to the bios download page. see if that helps. if that doesnt then the only other thing i can suggest that you may have extra software loaded on your ipaq or you are running to many programs at once. i hope my advice will help you resolve the problem
