Default TT 5.1 No GPS Status & Lost sensitivity

TomTom 5.1 2 steps forward 1 step back!

The forward steps are 1 “ Real” post code navigation a 2 Street Names whilst navigating both work very well.

The 1 step back is Iv lost a boat load of sensitivity vs TT3 ! My Jornada 560 and classic black box wired TomTom receiver no longer give GPS Status information and regularly looses satellite connection. Its bad enough to make me seriously go back to TT3.
At leasst it still navigates ... just not as well as TT3 !
Ill give it a few more days to see if TT come up with a fix ( no pun intended)

Hi Mark,
You'll find it doesn't even navigate. And postcodes!, it gives my address the wrong postcode. So as far as I'm concerned the whole thing is broken. When I bought the first version 5 it wouldn't even talk to my gps. 5.1 fixed that of course. But now I'm discovering lots of other problems. I'm still playing with 5.1, to see what else I can find wrong. But before my next journey by gps I will be putting 3 back on.
Good Luck! and don't get lost 'cos TTN 5.1 won't get you home without some serious off roading, hope you have a 4x4.

Regards
RichardJG
