Default tomtom navigator 5 and pda contacts

Has anybody worked out how to use ttn5 with the contacts on their pda?

I have searched this and other forums and can't find anything relating to the topic or indeed a problem. I can't believe that everyone except me has worked it out (famous last words..)!

All of my contacts are in the standard contact folder on the pda (i assume) but I can't work out how to use the addresses of these contacts as points to navigate to...

Any help?

Oh good - I'm not the only one either! I also can not find any info on how to use my contacts. I'm using an Ipaq 4355 and TT5.

I haven't got my iPAQ/TomTom with me to confirm this, but (I think!) all you have to do, it with TomTom running, go to your list of contacts, hold the stylus on the entry you want to use and it will bring up a menu, select "Navigate to" and it should plan your route.

I solved this problem. I was having the problem because I was using WebIS Pocket Informant version 5.1. I upgraded top the newer version 6.0 and now it works great. I found this out at the following link:

If you are not using pocket informant, then DaveA is correct - just hold stylus on contact and get additional choices for TomTom.

Hey there, Dave A is almost correct. You do not need tomtom to be running to do this. Just go to your contacts. Tap and hold stylus and a drop down menu should appear that will give you the option to navigate to....

You can either "press and hold" with the stylus in contacts and the pop-up menu will have a "navigate to" option on it which when selected starts TT5, or with TT5 running you press the contacts button that minimises TT5 and allows you to go thru the "press and hold" sequence.
