Navigator 5 and iPAQ 4150 pre-sales question

Good evening.

I'm looking to buy the TomTom Navigator 5 to use on my iPAQ. I've not bought a GPS navigation system before and this seems to suit my purposes. I looked at the Navman 610 but didn't like it for various reasons.

I've been reading the threads on the 3rd party BT compatibilty issues with the Navigator 5 and it's confused me a tad. I thought that the Nav 5 comes with the GPS receiver that connects to the BT on my iPAQ and that I wouldn't need a 3rd party receiver. Is this correct and if so, should I expect it to work smoothly as the 4150 is listed on the compatible list?

You can purchase the software and the receiver in a bundle (don't forget you will probably require a car kit as well, but this should also be in the bundle) or you can purchase the software on its own (this option would be better if you already have a receiver and car kit.
