Tom Tom 5 Upgrade Help Please

I have a IPAQ 2110 totally compatable with the upgrade (or should be), the GPS is a Rikaline 6010 the software work well before the upgrade, the PDA crashed 3 times, and after doing a hard reset and installing everything again, I load the PDA into cradle and wait for the GPS to get the fix then I start Tom Tom, I plan a route and all I get is 'No usable locations near GPS' no route planned the software has been configured at least 10 times, I go to the GPS status and it picks up 5 sats with it locked onto location, I have used the tomtom upgrade from 5.000 to 5.100 and still getting the same mesage can anybody enlighten me on how to get the software to work I have email TomTom and still waiting for an answer

I have got the Postcodes to work fine,no problem there, I still get no usable locations near cursor or no usable locations near GPS position

Are you on a road? It may sound daft but that error message usually appears when you are off road. (is the road showing? if it is newer than 2 years, it may not be on the great britain map)

Thank you for that but the map is not showing any roads and the road that I on is over 30 years old it is not showing any roads in the UK
