Default tom tom 5 memory loss

I keep losing my favourites,poi settings,recent locations & home address,has anyone come across this or is my system faulty?

Hi Steve,
I had the same problem. The way i fixed it was......
Click on My Computer---Mobile Device---My Pocket Pc---Storage card---Great-Britain-Map---Then look for the file called Great-Britain-Map.cfg
Rename this file to something like Great-Britain1-Map.cfg
Then give it a try
It worked for me.....But make sure you back-up the original first just incase it all goes wrong.

Was this before or after reinputing them? can you still add new ones???

i was experiencing the same problem , the tip you gave me worked , i got my tom tom 5 from ebay and it works pristine now.. and nothing is affected
