Unhappy Cannot pair an iPAQ 2200 with a Holux GPS

Congratulation to Total PDA for hosting this forum. I'm new to this site and I'm very impressed with the knowledge and information contained in this forum.

I have an iPAQ 2200 running Windows CE 4.20. The ROM has been undated to the version 1.10.07. I recently purchashed the TomTom Navigator 5 which has been updated to the version 5.10. The GPS unit is a Holux BT GR231 unit.

I have installed the software, however I cannot get the iPAQ to pair with the Holux. I have followed the instruction provided by Stevie however the units are still not pairing. I have tried soft reseting the iPAQ as well as hard reseting. Nothing works. When I try to pair the units, I use the key "0000". The iPAQ attempts to conned. I get a message "Waiting for device...". After 4-5 minutes, I get a message "Authentication failed..."

Can anyone please help me?
