Exclamation Tomtom Navigator 3&5 Maps on TomTom GO

Hi folks,

I just bought a TomTom Go 300 Navigator and I want to know if I can use my "old" TomTom Navigator 3 & 5 maps for PDA with my TomTom Go Navigator.
I think there are just little differences between TomTom Go and TomTom Navigator maps - same as between TT Navigator 3.0 maps and 5.0 maps.
I tried using TomTom 5.0 maps with the TomTom 3.0 software and vise versa and it worked so I hope there is a chance for Tomtom 3/5 maps to work on TomTom Go 300.
Maybe I have just to correct the versionnumber in the "country.pna" - that worked for Tomtom Navigator 3 and 5.

Does anybody have experience with that stuff?
Does this work and if yes how?

I bought all these expensive TomTom Navigator Maps and I dont want to waste my money to buy the same maps for my TomTom Go 300 Navigator.
I think if this works it would be only fair.

Please help me

I've never tried it.
People on other forums have I believe and have had mixed results. I personally would buy the new maps to have the up to date versions.
