Default Acer n35 and Tom tom 5

Dear All

I have been using an Acer N35(built in GPS receiver) with Tom tom 5 sucessfully now for about two months however I am now having problems

The software no longer recognises a valid Gps signal and as such will not work

Anybody outh there had similar problems or knows of a solution?

Hope to get some answers soon

Cheers

Jonny Baby

If you click on the bottom right of your screen and then click on the satellite signal, does the little orange / black circle spin? If it does, then the receiver is connected to tt but the signal strength is not good enough or you are not waiting for a lock.
You could try moving the receiver slightly or ensure that it has a direct line of sight to the sky. Then make sure you wait for a lock of the signal before moving.
