Default TomTom5 install problems

I have just received my HP6515 and I am trying to put TomTom5 on it. I put in the install disc and it runs fine. When I put in the 1st map disc I get an error message " Not enough temp memory setup cannot run"

Anyone any ideas.

Derek

This is a PC fault, on your PC click on

My computer, C:driver (whatever your hard drive is names) documents and settings, your logon name, (click on the tools tab, folder options, click on view, tick show hidden and system files), click on, local settings, temp and either backup or removes files from the folder.

Try running the install again if it does not work restart your PC and try again

To get most out of HP IPAQ hw6515 you must:

1 - Upgrade for free from www.TomTom.com - click on support and download files down on the right side of the web-page. Download the .exe-update file for hw6515 - current version is TomTom Navigator 5.10

Run this file on your PC connected via ActiveSync to the PDA

Now you have upgradet from TomTom Navigation Pack 4.5 to TomTom Navigator 5.10

2 - Download your free area-map by clicking on PDA Start-Programs..dont remeber exactly - GPS Voucher something. Be sure to have your 6515 configured with GPRS and SIM-card so it connectes to TomToms special web-pages for this - or have the 6515 connected to TomToms web-pages via your PC

3 - Now you can use other TomTom 5 maps

The error you get "Not enough free space on temporary folder" can be fixed by clicking on Start-Run writing %temp% in text-field - click OK. Find the TomTom file Setup.exe (look after the TomTom logo red hands) - delete this file and - insert the TomTom CD and magic! It works...
