Is it pirate software

I recently bought a used pda from a local flea market, it came complete with gps and tt5 preloaded on a 256 sd card. I am now a little concerned that the software might be a pirate copy because when I open some of the poi,s i.e rest area and cash machines plus one or two others I get the message NO POI.S FOUND. Could this mean that I have innocently purchased pirate software?

It could just mean that the POI files are corrupt. I take it that you didn't get any CD's or product / activation codes with it??

No I didn,t, I can live with the poi problem because everything else seems to work ok but I do not support the use of pirate software. It seems that I could have been done, ah well such is life.
