Angry No map on TOM TOM Navigator 5

I recently bought TOMTOM Navigator 5 (TTN5) from www.totalpda.co.uk and after inserting the SD card and running TTN5 get the following report on screen "No maps"

There appears to be a map on the card but I can't get it to load. Has anyone got any tips please ?

I have had it a week and still have had no use out of it.

It is runing onan HP IPAQ 2210.

Hi Charlie,
I currently have the TOMTOM logo showing on the opening screen on my HP2210. When i tap the TOMTOM logo it tries to open the program but then after a legal opening screen shows "no maps found". The only option I have then is to cancel. What is going on and how do I fix it please ?.

Default TT5 'No maps found'

Hi,
Have had the same problem as you are experincing for a couple of weeks now. TT support have tried to sort it out without success. Have been waiting since last week as they are 'reserching the difficulty' Noticed your post and wondered if you had sorted the problem and if so, where did you get the advice from? I would appreciate any info you may have.
Many thanks

Default TT5 'no maps'

Hello,
Thanks for your comments, unfortunatly, it must be a more complicated problem as I have tried that numerous times. The same message comes up on all my SD cards which have maps on ie GB, Weastern europe.
Many thanks.

I was having a similar problem last night trying to load the GreatBritainPlus map and eventually found that the installation was failing with "Disk Error" - tried again with the smaller GreatBritain map and it worked fine.
