Default Need to bypass default GPS driver in Tomtom 5 install.

Hi,

I have a NAVMAN GPS3400 Sleeve, IPAQ 3630 & TOMTOM 5. I find that getting a signal lock can take 30-50 minutes then it works tempramentaly, losing easily and most often not locking again. In TOMTOM 3 this was working fine, signal lock in 3-5 minutes. If I run a program such as GPS Info then it gets a lock in around 60 seconds. Only TTN 5 is the problem.

I believe the problem is in the 'compulsory' GPS driver which is installed by TTN 5.

Can someone please advise how to install TTN 5 with driver version 2.06 (Tomtom 3), I understand this can be achieved by installing from .cab file and with a bit of tweaking.

Your help is much appreciated.
