Palm / TT5 locked onto Tomtom GPS

Tomtom fine was working fine on my Palm T3 until recently. It now says it is searching for a GPS device. Was working fine with BT GPS but now when I check in 'Changes Prefs' > 'Show GPS Status' > 'Configure' it shows the GPS device as the Tomtom Wireless GPS and not the 'Other GPS Device'. When I try and change to 'Other GPS Device' and click done and then return to that screen I find it is still locked to the Tomtom GPS. The Tomtom GPS has the trusted device key icon and the four digit security code for my BT GPS above it and no matter what I do (hard rest, full tomtom reinstall, dicover bluetooth device etc.) it still locks onto the Tomtom GPS. HELP PLEASE!!!!!!

Have just had a look at a friends PDA and although he is using a wired GPS his prefs. section also shows the Tomtom Bluetooth GPS icon with the trusted device key and 0000 code. Looks like it does this by default on instalation.

Still no luck on my BT GPS unit and Palm T3 getting a valid signal though - totally p***ed off with this now would stick it all on eBay if I thought someone would buy it!
