Default Any faults with TT3 or TT5 maps?

I've mentioned this before on this forum, but have not really had any feedback.
I have used TT3 since it was released and haven't really found any problems with the actual mapping. After installing TT5 upgrade and planning a route in my home area, I discovered a major planning error. The route involved joining a motorway, the tomtom route wanted me to join the motorway via a farmers track. What I would like to know, is this the only mistake on the new maps. Does the old tt3 map have similar mistakes that I haven't yet come across. I only found the problem because it is in my area, so there will probably be many more. If you want to see what I'm talking about, do a route from Messingham North Lincolnshire to Grimsby, it should take you from Messingham on to the M180. This is a map problem, as I get the same problem with VIAMICHELIN which uses the same map maker. We could maybe compile a list of route problems and forward them to the relevant people. This one fault has made me revert back to TT3, but maybe TT3 has the same kind of faults elsewhere.

Hi, are you talking about faults that are already with roads or do you want people to include roads that are not on the maps?

Hi Lupos,
I take it you mean roads that were devolped after the maps were made. No I don't think it is neccesary to include those, as all maps become out of date at some point. It's the actual routing faults I would like to see. (such as the one I have found, this particular one didn't happen on the tt3 map)

Thanks and Regards

You shold visit http://www.tomtom.com/support/index....pping&FID=1834 and follow the advice there to report any mapping/routing issues you encounter so that they can be resolved by TomTom.

Can these errors not be reported to Teleatlas as well? If the problem is with the map data, they would be esponsible wouldn.t they?

TT3 doesn't recognise the M6 Toll - go along there and you get some VERY interesting instructions!

Also, in some parts of Devon you can be driving along a road, and the map suddenly shows you driving through a river! The kids found it very entertaining!

Try Portmadog, North Wales, ttg 500 tried to send me up a bus only route, around the back of the town by a large carpark. As I desided to find a place I had heard of without the address, while I was passing through while navigating to somewhere else. The unit was trying to correct my direction of travel!
