Question o2 xda11i tomtom

I am new to all. I have the o2 xda11i. I got the TomTom navigator 5 software.
with instruction to down load the safty camaras, i down load them but i did not work and now i have on my screen a bleed over the top of my today page. I have removed the tom tom program and rest the soft reset but it will not go away. the item i need to get rid of has a error message that reads.

ERROR DELETING FILE.
CANNOT DELETE DATA THERE HAS BEEN A SHARING VIOLATION.
THE SOURCE OR THE DESTINATION FILE MAY BE IN USE.

PS:THE ICON ISCHECKPOINT 5.0

I anyone could help please

do a soft reset so nothing is accessing the file and try and delete again.
