Tomtom 5 with Haicom receiver

I have a Dell Axim X5 with TomTom 5.

The GPS receiver is Haicom 203 E (transluscent blue box).

Everything has worked well for several weeks until I accidently entered the "Show GPS Status" box last week.

Now all I get is the "NO GPS DEVICE".

Settings are OTHER CABLE NMEA GPS, Baud Rate 4800, Serial Cable on COM1.

Everything is plugged in and powered up but, nothing. Not even the red light is flasing on the Haicom unit. I have checked cables and all look intact.

Anyone have any ideas please as to what I am doing wrong.
