TT5 upgrade

How do I upgrade to TT5 using my existing pda currrently with TT3 and bluetooth. I have found references to upgrades available on the TomTom site but cant find anything??

The upgrade from TTN3 to 5 was actually a full programme, replacing 3, and Tom Tom had a special offer until 1st November where 5 could be purchased at a reduced rate.

You now have two choices.

1. Full version of TTN5. (Street level mapping for most of Europe)
2. GB + Major roads of Europe and purchase individual country maps (which you can download from Tom Tom).

In either case there have been two updates, the first to 5.1 and few days ago to 5.21, which you can download from the Tom Tom site.

Most importantly, make sure your PDA is in the TTN5 compatibility list.

Just to add, and it's important.

If you go for the Full version, make it clear to who you purchase it from, you want the FULL Navigator 5 software + maps of Western Europe package.

Don't get caught out by getting the Navigator 5 Software + maps of Western Europe package. This would only work if you already have TTN5 GB maps + major roads of Europe on your PDA.

Trust me to be too late! Thanks for the reply and especially for the second post as I would have fallen for that!

Seems ridiculous not to offer a continuing discount for upgrade...especially when I signed up for their email notification and never received anyhthing! ....there is now no reason not to change to a different provider. Obvoiusly they dont want to keep customers!
