| | Go here http://www.globalpositioningsystems....scription.html and look at the end of the report where it says:- Compatibility with TomTom & CoPilot Navigation software Please note: Due to problems during the set-up of this product we must advise customers that the Mio A201 is not compatible with the above mentioned software. For this reason we have withdrawn our Mio A201 bundles.
We are actively researching a solution to this issue |

| | I have the updated version 5.21, which I believe is suppose to work. What settings do I choose in settings\system\GPS for GPS Program Port and GPS hardware port? Also what do I select in Tom Tom when it aasks what GPS is connected to as GPS is built-in on this model? |

| | I've sorted it. It was the map that was causing me the problem :-) |

| | It does work, you need to select
Other cabled NMEA, Baud 4800, HW GPS

| | hi sorry to jump in on this thread but i have an ipaq hw6515 and i've got a tomtom gb map sd card, which auto installs tomtom to my device. i can't get a gps signal and when i try to configure my ipaq is not one of the options, instead i can only choose from "other cable NMEA GPS", "TOMTOM cable gps", "other bluetooth gps", "tomtom wireless gps"
i naturally chose "tomtom wireless gps" which above the picture of the device is a key with "0000" next to it
but i cannot get a signal and i it says "no gps device" in gps status screen
do i need to copy over some sort of file to my sd card so that my ipaq will show up as an option?
any help would be really appreciated as i am really at a loss here |

You need to create a new pairing with the TomTom mkII (assuming that you do have this GPS device). When prompted use the code 0000.
Once paired, open TT5 and it should automatically find the device when it scans all the ports. |

| | I have advised on another thread that the com ports do work but the TomTom application will change the device code on the PDA making the software need activated everytime you run the application. TomTom and Mitac are aware of the issue, but there does not seem to be a quick fix.
