What on earth are they ?

Just interested to know, but just what are some of these thousands of POI's that you can get, and how do they help ? eg,
OS Grid References, R's, PG12_Hants, Hamrep2, Esporta2, DiallingCodes,
AA_Walks_Surrey, .....and so it goes on !!

Yup.....although it 's not just that site that I've noticed numerous POI's that mean nothing to me. Have you also noticed on TT5, the number of overseas POI's that are available.......(when using the GB map only,) which seems a bit odd ?

I am presuming that these POI's must mean something to somebody. For example, AA Walks would mean absolutely nothing to me and would be of no interest to me. However, somebody that likes nature and walking, may find it useful to be able to navigate to this.

As for the overseas POI's, I'm afraid I can't comment. On my tt, in the Great Britain map all i get is British POI's (as far as I can tell), however when I switch to Florida map, I get the Florida POI's.

Are you sure that you are not using the Great Britain Plus map. This way I would imagine you would get more European POI's.
