tomtom3 navigator error message

Hi,

Please can someone help me I have tt3 and have recently bought a hp2190 I want to install the software on this pda but i have not had no luck I am using activsync 4 using the CD provided I have connected the pda and it is synchronised but when you load the CD I then select the language then agree to the license agreement, then select the navigator to install but when the software is trying to locate the pda i have a typical tomtom must close and you have the option to send an error report this has always happened but not when i used it with my previous dell axim x3 pda that was scraped. can someone help me get this installed and useable.
