Improved satellite signal

Hi there,

Just wondering with the latest satelite system (GALILEO) going up, will our trusted GPS systems obtain a better / faster lock on signal????

You'll have to wait 'till 2010 for all satelite's to be in place, buy a new receiver to pick-up signal and being a European system no doubt have to pay for it. Apart from that accuate to within 1 metre so the blurb goes.

2010?? With all the hype on the news, you would think it is going to be up and running tomorrow. Nothing like European efficiency. As for paying, I'll stick with the American sats thank you very much.
