Install TT5 on new device

Getting a new device and just wanted to check a few things.

Old PDA was 2002, new wm5. I assume I load everything as before (including 5.21 update), and it'd pick up everything on my SD card (maps & settings) without need to reinstall the maps after activation?

Also how does the activation work? Will the ttcode site simply gen a new code, and delete the old one so I can use plus again? No issues of using 2 devices at the same time, as old device died this morning!!!

If I can get the old one working again (not holding breath ATM), are their any TT5 config/setting files I should transfer too from the PDA's mem?
