TomTom Navigator 5 does not show full streets list

I am using TomTom Navigator 5 on my imate JAM with emtac BT-III (bluetooth). When I choose navigate to address and give my city name; it only shows few streets in the list and misses major roads and streets in the list. Help....

Eh? After you have entered the Town or City, you have to start entering the Street, the Street name will often appear after entering just the first few letters, then enter the house number.

Or have I misunderstood your problem?

It does start showing street names but mostly the street name i need does not appear in the list...

Can you find it if you use the postcode instead?

Some roads, particularly in London can be by town/borough where as technically their postal address is London.

Can be quite confusing, but is much improved over TT3!

I am based in Toronto (Canada) and I am using TT5. If go through the post code route it does show the street name then but you know one doesnt always has the postcode.
