Default Tomtom 5 onto Acer N35 - Newbie help please

Hello,

I am a complete newbie, so please be gentle. Any help, or pushes in the right direction would be appreciated.

I've got a Acer N35 and would like to install Tomtom 5 and some speed camera location warning programs onto it.

I downloaded a version of Tomtom 5 from piratebay, put it on my SD card, and according to the instructions it should auto install. But nothing happens, and when I click on the file I get 'no applicaton...' message.

So I'm afriad your going to have to start at the begining with me!

Any help or directions much appreciated!

Thanks,

Miles

Wewll your first instance would be to buy a legit copy rather than pirated versions of software.

Looks like you've got the maps only and they have to be activated, your problem is they most probably already have been.

I would suggest you purchase TTN5 from http://www.totalpda.co.uk/TomTom-Nav...ND-Rider-.aspx

Thanks Steve. Downloading now.

Border Collie, I barely paid that much for my reciever! So if I cant get a cheaper copy I'll stick with Destinator 3 that it came with.
