Unhappy Favorites and home address lost

Hi,

I'm using tomtom navigator 5 on my Acer N50 Premium.

I have told tomtom my home address and spent ages putting all my clients addresses in as favorites. It was OK for a few days, then it lost all the info. It was there one minute - I turned the program off - then back on within 10 seconds, and all the info I had put in was lost!

Any ideas? I really need to be able to reliably store this information.

Thanks

Cartboy

No worries - I've sorted it out. Changing the file name works as said in a previous thread.

OK, I've not sorted it. I changed the file name and it was OK for a while, but now it has lost all the info again.

I've tried moving the file to my computer, changing it from read only etc, but it is not a read only file anyway!

Please help me, it's driving me mad!!!

I have had this problem with TT5 and my dell axim x30, i tried reinstalling to no avail, so instead i used the lock switch on my sd card so the files could not be altered. It has worked for 2 weeks so far!!

copy the Great-Britain-Map.cfg file to your desktop. Make sure it is NOT read only, if it is remove read only. Copy back to device.

If still not working, close TT. Delete the Great-Britain-Map.cfg file, and restart TT. It'll be recreated and should be OK from there.
