You need to go to your address book first, click and hold the address or contact you want and a drop down list should appear. One of the options is 'Navigate To' which then sets your route. (It needs post codes in your contacts though)

Not sure about Palm software but with Pocket Windows Outlook when you open 'Contacts' you are given a list of your contacts. If you press and hold any of the contact you get a drop down list with
Send E-mail,
Beam Contact,
Delete Contact,
Show address on map,
Navigate To,
Dial Via Bluetooth, and
Send via Bluetooth

The navigate to option is added by TomTom during installation so would imagine the same happens with Palm. (Unless the address book link is only compatible with Pocket PC)
[Just checked the TomTom site and Navigator is compatible with Palm LifeDrive, Treo 650, Tungsten E2, Tungsten T3, Tungsten T5, TX, Zire72]
