Default tom tom 5 & cpit gps receiver

I have an Ipaq 1940 and tom tom 5 software on it. I am trying to set up a cpit bluetooth gps on it but am struggling. I can set up the cpit gps on the ipaq and set it as a paired device but no matter what I do on tom tom 5 I cannot get tom tom 5 to see the device,it just constantly says no gps device. Any ideas?

Guys,
Dont pick the "other bluetooth" option for this model. Pick the "other cable NMEA" option and it will let you choose bluetooth on com port 8 from their and that works. I have the 2210 model with this and tom tom 5 and this works. I have also had the chance to test it on a 1940 and this method also works. Sattelite pickup is fast on this little gadget. Also works with memory maps ordenance survey maps too.

for some reason I don't have com port 8 listed!

my blutooth is enabled and the device is paired but the comports available are 1 to 6 and then 9, which is odd because in the bluetooth ports section it is set to use ports 5 and 8 for the bluetooth device!

Any ideas???

Thanks Epistone for the advice, it works a treat. Do you have any ideas how to get the hp2210 to work with memory map?
