Tomtom Nav 5 not saving settings???? please help

Hi, I have just had Navigator 5 installed on my Dell Axim x30 (wired gps). Everything is fine apart from one problem and I wonder if somebody could help please.

If I click on the icon 'exit application' and then switch off my PDA, when I switch the TomTom back on, I have to reset my home address and other settings have been lost such as the audiable warnings I set up for speed camera's.

How do I get these settings to save and stay on?

Also, I have the GB and french maps loaded on storage card, and occasionally I will turn on pda and when selecting 'navigate to' it doesn't recognise any town/city?!!

just locate and delete the config.cfg file from the great britain folder.

TT will recreate the file, and everything should be OK.
