Default Tom Tom Navigator 5 and HP HW6915

Hi

My trusty H5550 has died and gone to silicon heaven, but my employer (bless them) have bought it's replacement an HW6915.

Has anyone installed the full Tomtom5 package on this - is it compatible (I can't see it on the list) or should I just try to add my maps to the existing factory install?

Thanks

David

It will work, just make sure you get the latest patch from tomtoms website Nav 5.21.

Now I'm lost - every time I put one of the Tom Tom 5 disks in it fails with a Windows error - can't install either the program or add any maps to the existing - no error message - just bang... anyone any ideas?

Thanks

David

Download and Save the 5.21 patch to your Desktop PC, it's actually a full programme, so you can install TT5.21 Software to your device without the CD.

Now install your maps via a Card Reader.

Different device, so when you first choose a map, after opening TT, you will have to re-activate, have your Product Code ready. If you use Manual mode you will be shown the Activation Code. which you can not incase you need to re-install e.g. battery failure.
