Installing Navigator 5 Software on T-Mobile MDA Compact II

I have just spent the last 2 days trying to get Navigator 5 software & maps to work on my MDA, being a complete nontechie.

Having initially installed the software on the phone card and copied the maps to my additional 2mg storage card, I find that the tomtom software cannot see the maps on the storage card.

All I get is "map not found" - havent even had the chance to activate the software !

Having been pinged between T-mobile and Tomtom support for the last 2 days having removed and reloaded the software xxxxx times I am ready to sling them both out the window. T-mobile cant help at all, as they would rather I used copilot and apart from one very helpful lady, who I havent been able to get hold of again at Tomtom the rest of them have been an absolute waste of time

The SD Card is a datawrite 2GB and has a 160 read & write speed, which I am told is more than enough for tomtom and T-moble can handle it. In file explorer on my mda I can see the map folders - I want both the UK and Spainish maps to work.

Can anyone help me get it working - off to spain on Sunday and really wanted it to work by then.

I take it you downloaded and ran the Nav 5.21 update patch first?

Yes, I had downloaded, but not installed it properly. Had another go this morning and everything now working
