Navigator won't store Home or recent destination

I am using v5 with GB map v605 but it won't store the Home location or recent destination. I'm sure there's a simple answer so somebody please help!

Ps. I read somewher to delete the config. file - I can't find it!!!!

Try a hard reset. That cured the same problem on my pda?
