Default Nav 5 problem with having to re-select map and losing saved settings

Hi

I have a Dell Axim x30 with wired gps and tomtom Nav 5. When I go to use it and try to navigate somewhere it doesn't recognise anywhere so I have to go in to select map again (I have GB and France), but then I lose my home setting and favourites etc!

Does anybody know why my map keeps freezing?

Also, if I close Tomtom via the 'exit application' icon, I also lose my saved settings, so I have just being turning my pda off and leaving the Tomtom open (but frozen maps!!).

Can anybody help please?!!!

Default

Delete the CFG files for each map set (ie Great-Britain-Map.cfg), and restart TT.

They can be found in each mapset folder.
