When you say "delete old routes" do you mean delete the roads from the list of places that you have been too? If that is what you mean, You can't, the roads drop off the list as new ones are added. I can't remember ofhand how many stay on the list but its not possible to delete these.
Actually thats most probably not strictly true as I'm sure that if you went into the file system you could delete the whole file of cities and roads visited so that you would start off with a blank one. But as far as just using TT by itself you can't delete the places or roads visited, the list updates itself whenever it is used.
