TT Errors..

This is a discussion on TT Errors.. within the TomTom Navigator forums, part of the TomTom category; Im trying to re-install my Tomtom nagavator, But it keeps on coming up with: Just in time Debugging Application ...

Default TT Errors..

Im trying to re-install my Tomtom nagavator,

But it keeps on coming up with:

Just in time Debugging

Application filesys.exe has
performed an illegal
operation.


Program: filesysexe
Exception" 0xc0000005
Address: 0001ba64


Then the screen Freezes, and have to reset it dose this everytime what can be wrong with it

Try a soft reset, then try again. Sounds like the OS is still running a file which the installer needs, or wants to overwrite.

Hi,

Whats a soft rest- i have to take the battery out and do the tap screen bit-

I can install the gps reciver, but when i install the whole lot- the error above comes up.

You don't say which device, but most you use the stylus to pressa small button on either the bottom, or side which will cause the device to restart.

in that case, the reset is on the side next to the record button.

What tomtom u trying to run? the axim needs 5.21, i dont think v5 will work with it, you could install 5 then use the 5.21 update.

Also you say re-install, if its installed already i should remove all the navigator folders before you install.
