Navigator 6 and OS

Hi all
I have a Toshiba E830, running W2003SE. Lovely pda but Tosh pulled out of pda and 2003SE is the only OS. I have had TomTom 2and 3 running on it about 12 months ago but had to remove all the meaty programs for other 'fat' programs.
Now I am back and have Navigator 6. I copied all the files onto my 2GB SD card, clicked on both the cabs to install, and install seemed ok. But when I start TomTom all I get is the splash screen, then TomTom disappears.

Is this because I am not using Windows 5? I cannot upgrade the OS because nobody seems to provide support to upgrade the OS.

Looking at the TomTom site they do not list any Tosh supported pda's. But having said that they don't list the iPAQhx4700 either which I have running 2003SE and all works perfectly. When all the files were transfered to the SD card I had to remove the card then reinsert it and the software was automatically loaded into the iPAQ. Have you tried that?

so.. this answers the one question does navigator 6 work on 2003SE - looks ok

I copied the tt6 structure onto my gb sd card in my sd reader on my pc then on the pda i ran the two cab files. i will try taking the sd card out and putting it back in and see if it has worked
