Route to Distant POI

Is it possible to plan a route to a POI in a distant city please before I set off. I know I can search for them once in the locality of my desdtination but would prefer to do it when not en route.

Nav 5 and Nav 6 have an option for navigate to POI. Its under Navigate to.

Thank you but I realised that, I want to navigate to a POI in a city 100 miles away from my home before I set of.

If you want to do it without a lock go to page 2 of the Main Menu - Advanced planning - From Home - Go to next page - POI in City.

Witha lock Navigate to - Go to next page - POI in City.

Thanks for your help, I worked out that I could go to the final instruction on the route and then look at the poi's local to there. I shall try advanced planning next time.

Thats what this would do just select poi in city and type in the city your planning to go to. It will then let you select the POI your interested in and list all of those POIs in that city.
