TomTomTom 6 autostarting on Dell Axim

I have installed TomTom v6 on an Axim 51v. The program 'autostarts' whenever the Axim is turned on. Can this feature be switched off?.

Try renaming the 2577 folder on your storage card to x2577.

I tried that on my 4700 but for some reason tomtom wouldnt see any maps, it used to work for v5.21 though.

What i did was to cut and paste all the files in the folder to a different location except for autorun.exe and autorun.exe.run, with these two in there it does not start when i turn on etc but still works.

If like me the renameing way does not work try removing he files.

Thank you both for the advice. Renaming was sufficient and has worked. Moving files was not necessary
