problem connecting to GPS with TomTom software. I have HP IPAQ

TomTom won't connect but other applications will.

I have an HP IPAQ 4150 and Leadtek 9553.

i've been able to connect in the past.

i always tell the software to conenct on Com6. For some reason TomTom can't see the GPS now.

solved.

It is a bluetooth GPS But it turned out, I had to choose "Other Cable NMEA GPS" instead of "Other Bluetooth GPS"

here are instructions from the TomTom site. I found I didn't have to pair it or even connect from the outside

TomTom always connects from the inside anyway. The outside alone never seems to work with any of my GPS apps. I guess the outside isn't a GPS app, so doesn't know NMEA or any GPS specific protocols.
