Default Itinerarys

When you create a route with various waypoints as an itinerary in tomtom it does not tell you when you get to each waypoint, it shows the flag but just carries on to the next waypoint.

Does anyone know if its posible or a third party app to work with tomtom to tell you you have reached the waypoint?

it could also be good if it stopped at the first waypoint, then you either press continue or next and it would carry on to the next.

Is there such an application available?

Set them all as destinations, you will be warned 'you have reached your (first then subsequent) destination', mark as visited and continue to next.

Yes have done that, but it seems daft to plan a route and then you have to press the screen, press manage itinery planning then done for it to ask if you want to go to next one, press yes etc, etc.

would be so much easier if it said "you have reached your destination" then a continue button appeared to carry on the journey. Also i would like to see a warning or something to say i reached a waypoint.

I have emailed tomtom about it and they said they have passed it onto the development team but i doubt they have really, i can see couriers etc would like it to just have an option to continue, would make it a lot less pressing and easier for the driver.

The option for them would be a good idea. On a personal basis I only use itinerary if I want to go other than the way plannned by TT. The via works in most cases but sometimes I have to use itinerary and a couple of waypoints to go the way I wish, in this case a warning would be of no interest to me.

Would only really need to add a voice warning 'You have reached your waypoint' and without further input automatically navigate to the next waypoint when you start off again without any further input. The only input you would need is if you wished to cancel the next waypoint.

I think the itineries are good just needs updating, making easier.

I realised it didnt work as i wanted when i was planning a route around europe for a motorbike. I want to stop off at various locations for photos, have something to eat etc but also end up at the hotels, also had to use waypoints to keep me on the nice bike routes. But with a pda attached to the bike i didnt want to keep pressing lots of keys, realised it would be easier if i just had a continue button.

Its no big deal really as i have stopped anyway, click the buttons and say yes to next one, then its ready when i set off again.
