Would just like to bring you up to date with my recent problems with activation codes and map down loads onto new devices.
I think it is essential, if you have any problems with the above, that you obtain the customer support helpline telephone number 08451610009 to contact them direct as email seems to be binned.
All the problems I had (and there were many) trying to download new maps and upgrade to nav 6 onto my new device were not solved by the website, but the support line was fantastic.
THEY ALWAYS ANSWERED, I WAS NEVER IN A QUEUE, (TIM WAS VERY VERY HELPFULL AND HES BRITISH) AND THE NICE LADY GENORATED ME A NEW ACTIVATION CODE TO MAKE IT ALL WORK WHEN I COCKED UP AT THE END. Three calls in all of no more than ten mins each over two days, sorted!
Now im the proud owner of an o2 XDA orbit with nav 6 and up to date maps.
Well done tom tom, now sort out your web site! as none of the info I needed was on there.
