Tomtom navigator 6 acerN35 favorites

Hi,
just installed TT nav6 on my Acer. Very impressed compared to Destinator PN except that favorites and recent destinations are not saved after quiting the programme. Also my home address is not saved. does anyone have a fix.

Make sure you haven't accidently locked the SD Card.

Could I be a pain and ask a couple of other questions:-

Are the maps on TT6 Navigator more up to date than Destinator PN? Our estate is shown on PN but not TT6

When I start up TT6 it automatically navigates to destinations in France can this be turned off.

Its because of the difference in the maps. Tomtom use teleatlas and Destinator use use navteq. It looks like Navteq have mapped you estate and Teleatlas havent yet.

It looks like your using the maps of westeren Europe map. If it doesnt find a GPS position when it switches on it will default to the centre of the map. You can set your home address in preferences and it will default there when you turn it on.
