POIs and maps

I installed tomtom 6 a while back and had the speed cameras etc on my POIs. After a fresh install after phone lost power and lost all maps etc I no longer have the speed cameras on my POI list. How do i sort it out? Also how do I have mpas on an SD card and upload them so tomtom can use it? Also why does the map stop working when my PDA has to be reset?

Reload your maps from the CD and follow instructions.

Then place the POI's in the maps folder on the SD card
