Navigator 5 USA Maps

I have Navigator 5 on a Palm E2, it is not compatible with Navigator 6. I have been using it for years and am happy with it however the maps are outdated. I checked on the TomTom site and can not see how I upgrade my US maps without upgrading to Nav 6. Is there any other way to get compatible current maps for it or am I SOL?
