Default TTN2 Activation

Ok, after my problem with TTN5 on my ipaq 3850 I dug out my old TTN2 disk and reinstalled it onto the Ipaq, as its been off for a while it has asked for an activation code, went to TT website, put in product code to get activation code and got reply, "This product can no longer be activated. Been onto TT support and they say they cant help I will need to buy new maps to get a new product code. Is this right, has this happened to anyone else, has TT software got a limited usage licence or something.

If your TT5 was an upgrade from TT2, then as per the user agreement, you loose rights to TT2 activation.

If you log into your TT acount though, you'll see all issued codes right back to TT2, and providing it's the same device originally used with TT2, you'll have the code you need

My TTN5 was not an upgrade, it came with NC30.
TTN2 came with the Ipaq 3850.
TTN5 works fine on the NC30 and I tried to install on the Ipaq, but doesnt work, tells me it found no maps.
This is the reason I have tried installing TTN2 onto ipaq, dont want to use NC30 as they have stability problems
