Default Low volume iPAQhx2750

Is it possible to have voice instructions from TomTom running on my iPAQ hx2750 directed through my stereo (listening to radio/cd at the same time).
Or increase the volume?
If so how?

Currently running TT5
Can I run TT6 without updating from WM2003SE
Thanks
