Angry Help No Maps Found Can't Get Device ID!

Hi there

I am new to all this! I purchased a 02 xda mini -s from ebay at christmas. Its been working great but I wanted tomtom on it. I downloaded and installed tomtom navigator 6 (I am running wm5) but I currently have no maps. When I downloaded a map for tomtom it asks me to enter the "device ID" (this is on the .EXE on my pc). All the guides say to get the device ID simply open tomtom and tap the bottom right screen corner or go to preferences but my one wont even do that! My tomtom starts in the following order:

1. shows a splash screen with the tom tom logo.

2. opens a green screen calles legal notice and asks me to click I agree.

3. opens a screen which has a grey backgorund and says "no Maps Found!" at the bottom right it says continue.

4. After clicking continue it exits tomtom.

Where do I get a device id????

Thanks

Callum

Are the maps legal? If not, that'll be your issue. Buy legit maps

If they are, and you've used TomTom Home to load them on the SD card, try shutting TT then removing and reinserting the card and restart TT.

Default This fixed it for me

I was getting the same "No Maps Found" TomTom problem.
Turning off bluetooth explorer fixed it for me.

START>Settings>Connections>Bluetooth>FTP and uncheck the bluetooth explorer box.

Hope this helps,
Cliff
