reinstall of tomtom 6.x

Hi, I upraded the ROM on my HTC Diamond mobile phone and lost the shortcut to tomtom and probably registry settings etc. I now know how to backup. I bought the phone with tomtom preinstalled so i don't have installation instructions or know what to look for.
If i knew how to, i could list all the files i have on the phone specific to tomtom and hope someone could tell me if all i need is there and how to set it up. As a last resort i will try to go back to the source of purchase but don't believe much will come of it as it was an ebay purchase. I need help to get tomtom working again please.

Unless it was store on a memory card, the updating the ROM has wiped any trace of it.

it appears to have been installed onto the memory card as there are heaps of folders that seem to refer to tomtom such as all the maps are there, there is a tomtom directory, voices etc.
in a 2577 dirctory there is even a autorun.exe, autorun.exe-install, autorun.exe-run, ttn.cab and a ttn2003.cab. i even found a ttnavigator.bif file which seems to have device and version information.
it seems to be mostly there but how do i put it all together to get it going again without overwriting the license?

looks like the tomtom software was purpose built for the phone. it doesn't seem to care about a serial and works fine after i relised the following file was an installable file ttn.cab which installed tomtom
