TomTom One (V8)

I have just connected a TomTom One via USB to Windows XP sp3 it shows in device manager as TomTom(v8) with the pretty yellow question mark (no driver installed) nothing loaded from the device on connection as the manual suggests I downloaded Home2 from the web site but it keeps asking me to connect my device.

Can you tried a different USB socket or cable?

If that doesnt change anything it could be a faulty unit if you call tomtom on 08451610009 they can do some checks with you and get it sorted out.
